Krobo girls on their way through the village of Kordiabe. Their appearance shows that they have successfully passed the examination on the sacred dipo-rock(dipo means initiation of girls), which is part of the initiation ceremony. During this test the girls have to sit down three times on the rock. If the girl has already conceived, the consequence could be the death of a relative. If nobody falls over dead, it is proved that the girls have not conceived before time and have not therefore become women against the rules
